Boston NHS Celebrates Women's History Month!
Join the Boston Chapter of the National Hellenic Society as they host a series of online events in honor of Women's History Month in March. The first event, Navigating Gender Inequality in the Workplace, moderated by Demetra Ganias Soterakis, featuring an esteemed panel including: Dr. Dena Haritos Tsamitis, Maria Markou, and Doretta Mistras, discussing their workplace experiences, overcoming challenges, barriers and rectifying wrongs. The second event, Greek American Women Navigating Global Careers, moderated by Katerina Sokou, featuring an esteemed panel including: Artemis Kohas, Dr. Natalia Linos, Elaine Papoulias, and Dr. Elizabeth Prodromou discussing global career initiatives and venturing out of one's comfort zone. The third event, Advice to Young Adults and Professionals: Staying Engaged & Making an Impact was moderated by Noel Denice and dealt with the challenges presented by the modern day workplace. Speakers included Dr. Ann Bezzerides, Athena Kalyvas, Jane Kourtis, Dr. Sophia Koustas, and Tamika Tompoulidis.
