WASHINGTON (May 31, 2011) —The National Hellenic Society (NHS), a foundation focused
on the promotion of Hellenic heritage and the furtherance of Hellenic ideas through the
sponsorship of scientific, educational and charitable programs, hosted a networking reception
for nearly 60 Greek American real estate professionals representing every facet of the industry
from major developers, retailers, and financiers to prominent brokers, attorneys and real estate
industry service providers. The event was held during RECon, the global retail real estate
convention, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nev., May 23, 2011.
The National Hellenic Society’s Heritage Greece Program, a fully-funded educational trip for first-time students to Greece, completed its first week. Already, the students have received breathtaking tours of Athens, the Peloponnese, and Olympia. Here is what they are saying about the Heritage Greece Program:
