Ski & See Weekend at Sun Valley

On the slopes of Sun Valley, the National Hellenic Society (NHS) Northwest Region, hosted by NHS Board Member Kris and Kenny Dudunakis, brought together members, friends, and young professionals for a memorable ski weekend.

Guests enjoyed skiing and snowboarding on Sun Valley’s renowned slopes during the day, followed by curated evening programming. Highlights included a private cooking class at the iconic Sun Valley Culinary Institute and a martini making party. The evenings' events included a panel on Freestyle Skiiing and dinners filled with parea, laughter, and connection.

Beyond the slopes, NHS members and guests enjoyed an exclusive screening of "Cliffs of Freedom", in partnership with the Sun Valley Film Festival, at the Argyros Performing Arts Center, named in honor of NHS member George Argyros. "Cliffs of Freedom", based on NHS member Marianne Metropoulos' novel Daughter of Destiny and produced by Dean and Marianne Metropoulos, depicts an ill-fated romance set during the dawn of the Greek War for Independence against the Ottoman Empire in 1821.
