NHS Attends HHF's Blue & White Ball

The National Hellenic Society (NHS) attended the Hellenic Heritage Foundation's Blue & White Ball in Toronto on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The event brought together Greek-Canadian leaders, supporters, and philhellenes for an evening of elegance and Hellenic pride. the Hellenic Heritage Foundation (HHF) awarded Dr. John Floras, the head of cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, with the HHF Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in cardiovascular research at the gala.

The Hellenic Heritage Foundation is a proud sponsor of the NHS's Heritage Greece Program®, offering Greek-Canadian college students the life-changing opportunity to explore their roots through an immersive educational and cultural experience in Greece. This collaboration between NHS and HHF has allowed the program to expand its reach and offer more young people the chance to connect with their heritage, develop lifelong friendships with their peers from Greece, and gain a deeper appreciation for their cultural identity.

The NHS congratulates the HHF for a beautiful event and looks forward to many more years of collaboration: inspiring pride in heritage, empowering future leaders, and ensuring that the Greek spirit continues to flourish for generations to come.
