The National Hellenic Society (NHS) proudly congratulates NHS Member Michael Bapis on receiving the esteemed Philotimo Award at the annual Hellenic Hearts Gala. Hellenic Hearts, a nonprofit organization founded to serve Hellenes and Philhellenes in the Greater Philadelphia area, held its fourth annual Hellenic Hearts Gala at the historic Ellis Preserve in Philadelphia on Sunday, June 1st.
Michael Bapis, a highly respected figure in the field of wealth management and finance, was honored not only for his professional excellence but for embodying the values that define the Greek-American spirit: integrity, humility, service, and above all, philotimo. Michael joins an esteemed list of Philotimo Award recipients, including NHS Board Member and Executive Director of The Hellenic Initiative Mike Manatos (2022), NHS Chair Emeritus Drake Behrakis (2023), and Calamos Investments CEO John Koudounis (2024).
